Getting started

1. Install Keptwise from the Shopify App Store and approve the plan. It's free under $10k a month in sales.
2. Follow the setup guide. Your free Health Check starts right away and reads up to 12 months of orders.
3. Open Health Check to see what friendly fraud has cost you, and click Block them to flag the customers behind it.
4. In Settings, choose whether to tag risky customers and hold high-risk orders before they ship.

Common questions

Where do I see Keptwise's rating on an order?

On the order page in Shopify, in the fraud analysis section, and on the Keptwise dashboard.

How do I release an order Keptwise put on hold?

Open the order in Shopify and click Release hold. You can turn holds off in Keptwise Settings.

A good customer was flagged. What do I do?

Add them to the allowlist in Keptwise Settings. Their orders are then always rated low risk and any Keptwise tags are removed.

How is billing calculated?

On your net sales in each 30-day billing cycle: free for the first $10k, 0.1% from $10k to $250k and 0.075% above, capped at $2,500. Charges appear on your Shopify bill.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?

Keptwise deletes your store's data, usually 48 hours after you uninstall. See the privacy policy.
